Education

Background: Tim Wagner is an adjunct faculty member in the Education Department. He teaches courses in elementary reading, writing, & literacy and a capstone seminar in child development. Dr. Wagner's scholarly interests relate to curriculum design, leadership development, school-based behavioral health, and the school experience of child refugees. He also serves as a public educator in a local school district where he has spent time as an elementary teacher (1st and 2nd grade) and a middle school English and History teacher (5th grade). Currently Dr. Wagner serves the district as a gifted education coordinator (7th - 12th grade) and the middle school English Language Arts Curriculum Leader.
