: brown or green with two or three rows of irregularly placed dark spots with light borders between dorsolateral ridges as well as on sidesHabitat: a meadow frog in the summertime, wanders away from water
Voice: deep rattling snore with clucking grunts
Range: south to Pennsylvania and Kentucky in the east; west to Pacific states and south to Nevada, Arizona, and New Mexico
