Rhinichthys atratulus - Blacknose Dace (Cyprinidae)
Inhabitant of moderate to high gradient brooks with clear waters (except for brief periods) which have a permant flow, sand and gravel bottoms with riffles for breeding and pools and shade for hiding. Will move into smaller waterways when they contain water.
