Andy Rish Earns Second-Straight All-America Award
WASHINGTON, Pa. - For the second-straight year, Washington & Jefferson College senior Andy Rish (North East, Pa./Cathedral Prep) earned Honorable Mention All-America honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.
Rish joins 21 other student-athletes who garnered honorable-mention recognition. Brian Chong of Claremont-Mudd Scripps College was named Division III Player of the Year.
This fall, Rish posted team-high totals of 43 goals, 29 steals and 23 assists. He was also the Presidents’ top spring out man, earning 33 sprint out victories.
During his career, Rish scored 136 goals, while starting all 88 matches during his four years at W&J. He also handed out 74 assists and produced 64 steals. During the winter, Rish is an All-PAC performer on the men’s swimming team.
