Dear Friends of the WAHS
Thank you for your interest in becoming one of our valued volunteers at the Washington Area Humane Society.
Volunteer Orientation is held at the Shelter at 11am and usually concludes between 12noon and 12:30pm. Please make sure you wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Please no open-toed shoes for safety. Plan on arriving at 10:45am for registration and completion of paperwork.
As part of the volunteer process everyone must complete and sign a volunteer application. If a volunteer is under the age of 18, they must also complete and sign an application and have a parent/legal guardian sign next to their signature. Also minors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times when participating in volunteer activities..
Again the animals and staff at the WAHS thank you for your generosity and support.
