The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation is offering a $1000 scholarship for college Juniors and Seniors majoring in an agricultural or environmental field. Applications are being accepted until June 15, 2012.
A $500 scholarship is being offered for the 2012-2013 school year from DutchCrafters Amish Furniture. Creative people are encouraged to apply. Deadline for application is July 31, 2012,
A $5000 Transportation Infrastructure Scholarship is being awarded to students with an interest in reporting on needed transportation improvements in each of the elevenPennDOT districts. Applications are currently being accepted.

Campus Discovery is offering a $2500 scholarship. You must complete a survey and write an essay. Applications are being accepted until July 31, 2012.
The Institute for Humane Studies is offering an eight week journalism internship at George Mason University. A stipend and travel allowance, along with housing assistance, are part of the program. Applications are due by July 1, 2012.
Residents of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Westmoreland and Washington Counties who are of Hispanic/Latino descent can apply for scholarships for the 2012-2013 academic year. Deadline is May 30, 2012.
