Start planning for study abroad!

Thinking about studying abroad for a semester or year? Now’s the time to start planning!

Do you dream of learning about culture in Japan? Perfecting your German in Austria? Studying history in England? Creating art among Italian masterpieces? If you dream of spending a semester abroad, we want to help you make those dreams come true!

The Office of Global Education will be hosting two events in the next week to help you learn more about off-campus study.

On Wednesday, November 16, we will be hosting our annual study abroad fair from 11:30am-2:00pm in the Ski Lodge. Come to the fair to learn more about W&J's 40 approved semester-long study abroad programs. Gather information about your program options, talk to returned study abroad students and international students who have spent time at our partner institutions, and view some of the amazing photos our students have taken abroad. At 1pm, we’ll also be unveiling the winners of our inaugural global photo contest!

For more specific details about the study-abroad process, come to the study-abroad information session on Thursday, November 17, at 5pm in Burnett 103. We’ll give you the basics of what you need to know to start planning your journey! This session is especially recommended for students hoping to study abroad during fall semester 2012, but all students are welcome!
