Anthony Calvano
Anthony Calvano joined the Washington & Jefferson College men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach in October 2012.
Calvano was a three-year starter for the NCAA Division I Penn State University men’s soccer team and helped the Nittany Lions to an NCAA Tournament quarterfinals appearance in 2002. He has played professionally in the United Soccer League for the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (2005-06, 2012) and the Harrisburg City Islanders (2007-11) after graduating from Penn State in 2004 as a two-time Big Ten All-Academic Team standout.
Calvano has coached at numerous Penn State summer soccer camps as well as leading the Penn Trafford High School varsity women’s soccer team and the Washington Middle School men’s soccer team.
