Jeff Scarpone

Assistant Sports Information Director Jeff Scarpone returns for his second year as the assistant sports information director in 2012. He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2011 with a degree in sport management.
In 2012-13, Scarpone will serve as the office's primary contact for field hockey, volleyball, water polo, women's basketball, wrestling, baseball, cross country and track & field.
During his time at Delaware, Scarpone assisted the sports information staff for three years, working as a lead statistician at a broad range of the Blue Hen sporting events. He also spent a semester as an intern with the Philadelphia Flyers, helping the public relations personnel with day-to-day operations.
