Jon Morrow

Position:
Assistant Cross Country/Track & Field Coach

Jon Morrow begins his second year as assistant cross country and track & field coach during the 2012-13 academic year.

During his first year in Washington, Morrow guided senior C.J. Corcoran to a 19th-place finish in the javelin throw at the NCAA Division III National Championships. Corcoran posted the nation's eighth-best mark at 42.93 meters during a regular-season meet.

He also aided in the development of rising senior Gavin Donathan, who made his first appearance at the ECAC Championships in the shot put event during the spring of 2012.

Morrow came to W&J after a one-year stint as head track & field coach at Okeechobee High School in Okeechobee, Fla.  Prior to joining Okeechobee, he worked with the javelin throwers as a volunteer assistant at Mercer Area High School.

Morrow is a graduate of PAC rival Westminster College where he was a four-year letterman on the track & field team.  Morrow was named to 2009 All-PAC second team and is the men's javelin throw record holder for the Titans.
