Jonathan Widich
Jonathan Widich joined the Washington & Jefferson College football coaching staff for the 2012 season. Widich concentrated on coaching the team's cornerbacks, kickers and punters and helped Eric Eberle '14 turn into one of the nation's top kickers. Eberle finished the season with 11 field goals, the second-highest total in W&J history.
Previously, Widich coached four years at his alma mater, Saint Vincent College, as a defensive and special teams assistant.
Widich has coached football at a number of different levels during his 20 years of experience, including three years with the Frankfurt Lions (first team in German American Football League), four years of scholastic football with the American School in Tokyo, Japan, and 14 seasons with various junior high and youth programs in the United States.
Professionally, Widich has worked 37 years Mellon Financial Corporation, mainly in the international and capital markets departments.
