Ryan Verlihay returns to his alma mater to begin his first season as the W&J baseball coach in 2013-14.
Verlihay spent four years as a member of the Presidents’ baseball team. This past year, he served as the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach at Blackhawk High School, creating practice plans and instructing student-athletes on fundamentals.
Throughout the years, he has worked with instructional youth baseball and softball leagues in his hometown of Beaver Falls, Pa., as a head coach and instructor.
In 2012, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in child development and education.
