Fungi sampling at Abernathy Field Station by Danielle Meyer. Purpose of study was to introduce student to the identification of fungi and begin to compile a list of fungi species on the Abernathy property. Species identified were in two families: Polyporaceae and Xylariaceae. Species identified were: mossy maze polypore, clinker polypore, violet-toothed polypore, cracked-cap polypore, and carbon balls.
