Students and families paying for W&J College tuition and fees or who want to add Jay Cash to a student's I.D. card can do so on-line. In order to reduce costs at W&J and to provide a less expensive way to offer credit or debit cards as an option, The College has contracted with Official Payments Corporation (OPC) to process Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards.
Keep in mind that OPC will charge a 2.6% convenience fee for this service. To utilize this on-line feature, all you will need is the student's birth date or the last four digits of their Social Security Number.
If you do not want to pay a transaction fee but would still like to pay for tuition-line, OPC can process an e-Check for you at no additional cost. This will require both the bank account and transit routing numbers.
For purchases of Jay Cash and payments for college activities like Senior Week, the spring concert, or food and drinks at the student run coffee shop (Roasted), no transaction fees are added.
Official Payments Corporation cannot accept payments from foreign bank accounts, so if you cannot pay your bill through a bank account in the United States, we recommend wiring the payments to: Washington & Jefferson College General Account, PNC Bank, 1002 Trinity Circle, Washington, PA 15301.
