Cameron Stadium

Cameron Stadium was renovated and dedicated in the fall of 2001. It is one of the top small college facilties at the Division III level and is located approximately one mile from campus. Cameron Stadium is the home of the women’s field hockey, football, and the track and field teams. It is surrounded by a fence and has a turnstile gate to allow people to walk on the eight-lane, all-weather track, which was resurfaced in the summer of 2003. Seating for 3,500 spectators is available with bleachers on both sides of the field.

The playing surface, Field Turf, was installed in 1999 and replaced in the fall of 2009 with the Matrix turf from Hellas Construction. Hellas installed a similar surface at Cowboys Stadium the same year.

Cameron Stadium has locker rooms for all teams using the facility, allowing locker space for approximately 140 athletes. There are also two other locker rooms located at the opposite end for visiting teams. Men's and women’s coaching locker rooms and a war room for the coaches to have meetings are also available.

Underneath the home bleacher is is an athletic training room with three taping tables and three treatment tables. It has modalities like those found in a physical therapy clinic including electric stimulation machines, ultrasound unit, and a paraffin wax machine. There also is a locked storage room to hold medical supplies. and a cable television with a DVD/VCR unit. In an adjacent room sits a separate hydrotherapy room that contains a large whirlpool, two hot pack machines, refrigerator, and an ice machine. The entire athletic training room floor has a waterproof surface.

In 2001, the Towler Hall of Fame was also established. This facility is next home bleachers. It is a large banquet room with the ability to hold 135-150 people. The Eaton/Gentile Room has memorabilia and pictures from past teams. A wall contains plaques with the name of each individual that has been inducted into the Washington & Jefferson College Athletics Hall of Fame.
