Assistant Professor of Religious Studies
The philosophy department at Washington and Jefferson College seeks an assistant professor of religious studies. Initial three year appointment with presumption of renewal. Must be able to teach undergraduate courses in a variety of world religions and also in Biblical Studies, but there will also be opportunities to teach in AOS and to direct program in religious studies. PhD required by time of appointment. Some formal background (such as BA or MA) in philosophy preferred but not required. Teaching load: 3-3. Salary: Competitive, with full benefits.
