An important part of science is learning to communicate one's results to both the general public and the scientific community. We strive to provide our students the opportunity to share their findings through poster presentations and publications.
Such presentations may reflect independent research (both on-campus and off-campus) as well as projects conducted in the context of a course. Publications typically represent the combined long-term effort of numerous students working over a number of years to collect a body of data worthy of publication in a scientific journal.
Examples of such presentations are through participation in:
Students thus have the opportunity to acquire and practice the professional and social skills they will need after graduation.
