Are you interested in playing hockey at W&J?
If you are planning to attend Washington and Jefferson College, or if you are already enrolled, and wish to play hockey for the Presidents’ please fill out the recruiting form. By filling out this questionnaire, you will be contacted with any important information regarding the team and our tryouts for the upcoming season.
Practice & Game Information:
During the season, the team holds 2-3 practice sessions each week at the Iceoplex at Southpointe which is about a 10 minute drive north of the College. Tryouts for the team are held during the first week of practice. All home games are played at the Iceoplex at Southpointe, typically on Friday and Saturday evenings, with occasional Sunday afternoon games. Away games are also played on the weekends.
Cost:
The current cost for playing for the Presidents’ Men's ice hockey is $2000. This fee includes all practice and game ice, team uniforms, travel, hotel, and meals on the road. All other costs incurred for equipment, sticks and skate sharpening are paid for by the student athlete.
