On behalf of the Washington & Jefferson College community, faculty, administration, staff, and the 2008 graduating class, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to celebrate the 209th Commencement at W&J, May 16-17, 2008.
The Baccalaureate service will begin the weekend celebration on Friday, May 16, at 6 p.m. The 2008 Commencement exercises will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, under the pavilion on the lawn next to the Olin Fine Arts Center. There will be a pre-Commencement Hospitality Center in the Technology Center, and the tent will open for seating at 8:30 a.m. The prelude for Commencement will begin at 9:45 a.m.
Commencement always is a very special time for all involved, our graduating seniors, their families, faculty, and friends. It represents great joy and celebration—of accomplishments, of growth and development, of new goals and horizons ahead. I look forward to welcoming you to our lovely campus and to your joining all of us as we honor the Class of 2008.
Complete information for Commencement Weekend is available through the links listed below.
Best wishes to all.
