The Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) (HEOA) was enacted on August 14, 2008, and reauthorizes the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended. This web page provides access to and contact information for the HEOA disclosure requirements.

The Higher Education Act (HEA)

The Higher Education Act (HEA) of 1965, as amended, requires institutions participating in the Title IV financial aid programs to disclose specified information to all current and prospective students and employees. Institutional Accreditation

Washington & Jefferson College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education authorized Washington & Jefferson College to allow certificate and graduate programs in 2013-14.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education commended Washington & Jefferson College in the last three reports. The most recent self-study review was during the 2018-19 academic year.
