Welcome to Information & Technology Services. The ITS staff is available to meet the needs of faculty and staff in many ways. As members of the campus community faculty and staff can take advantage of general hosting services, which include email, webspace, and home drives. Many departments and offices also utilize shared folders and calendars to promote communication and information exchange.
Both wired and wireless network access is available across campus. Wired connections can be found in every classroom, every dormitory room, and in most of the study and lounge areas. In addition, wireless network access is readily available in the Library, The Burnett Center, the Technology Center, the Rossin/Commons complex, and most outdoor locations. Wireless access is continually expanding across campus, and will be available in the new residence halls and other academic buildings in the near future.
Faculty and staff can receive direct assistance through the ITS Helpdesk (helpdesk@RemoveThisPart.washjeff.edu or ext. 6022). The Helpdesk can provide information on network connections, accessing email and home drives, using Blackboard and WebAdvisor, purchasing new equipment, and many other topics as well.
