Devin M. O’Malley ‘09 Ellis Hyman Award Recipient Intersession ‘09 Major: History Internship: The Fortis Group at Smith Barney; New York, NY
My final intersession as a student at Washington & Jefferson College was spent in New York City where I worked with the #46 wealth management team in the nation, The Fortis Group at Smith Barney. This opportunity was made possible my William S. Platt ’87 (a partner in The Fortis Group), a trustee, but also Mr. Ellis Hyman ’87. Without the support Mr. Hyman provided me there is no way this internship would have been possible.
Brittany Anderton, Summer 2008 Ellis Hyman Recipient. Brittany spent the summer interning with Institut Pasteur in Paris, France.
She also had the opportunity to visit Cologne and Amsterdam.
