Located in Old Main, the Office of Protection Services is open 24 hours daily, seven days a week, to safeguard and serve the students, staff, faculty, and visitors of the College community.The department consists of sworn and unsworn officers.

The administrative office responsible for security is the Office of Protection Services, which reports directly to the Dean of Student Affairs.The department includes a director and two other certified police officers and eleven full-time security officers.The Office of Protection Services has an excellent working relationship with all local departments along with the Pennsylvania State Police.
