Fees & Financial Aid

Welcome

Washington & Jefferson College has an active financial aid program that attempts to help every qualified student. Need-based aid may be awarded in the form of grants, loans, and student employment. There are also competitive academically-based scholarships that range from $16,000 to $64,000 over four years. You also may check our page of financial aid resources.

Typically, more than 90 percent of W&J students receive financial aid from some source, including both College and non-College aid, and the average financial aid package is over $20,000. Applicants are encouraged to apply for all types of financial aid. All students must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the College to be eligible for financial aid.
