The Magellan Project provides W&J-based support for W&J students who wish to pursue interesting projects during their college careers. The Magellan Project is designed to assist W&J students in crafting and in telling compelling stories of curiosity and achievement that will be useful throughout their college years and their subsequent transition to life after W&J (graduate school or career). The Magellan Project has provided funding for summer projects such as studying Holocaust sites in Europe, marketing perfumes in Switzerland, researching at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, assessing worker safety in Pittsburgh, exploring health care systems in Cyprus, and managing operations at the Cal Ripken Baseball Experience in South Carolina.
