The Cougars quickly built their lead to 12 points with a 10-0 run to begin the second half.  Barb Petty's triple at the 15:51 mark pushed the lead to 42-30.

The W&J defense took over from that point, holding the Cougars scoreless for 10 minutes and 23 seconds.  The Presidents scored 20 consecutive points during the game-changing spurt which was highlighted by two three-pointers from junior guard Stephanie Smith (Grove City, Ohio/Grove City).
