Welcome to the Office of Student Activities, Involvement and Leadership .jpg "Hub with Sign") This is your source of information about activities happening on campus. We are located in the HUB across from the Wellness Center along with Intramurals & Club Sports, Volunteer Programs, Student Government Assoc., and the Student Activities Board. The Hub offers over 100 movies, X-Box, Playstation 2 and Wii systems and games including Guitar Hero. All of these can be checked out with student ID free of charge.
There are four rooms upstairs in The Hub for student use: The Fireplace Lounge, TV Lounge, Meeting Room and the Cultural Exchange Lounge.
The Fireplace Lounge is a popular place to go on campus to just unwind. Students relax on the large couch while watching the big screen TV or playing video games. There are also poker tables in which poker tournaments are held sponsored by the Office of Intramurals.
TV Lounge includes a plasma TV with surround sound and a DVD player. Students love to stretch out on the love sacs while watching a movie.
The Meeting Room is a great place to hold a student meeting. This room includes a podium, computer, and a white board.
The Cultural Exchange Lounge is home to several student groups on campus focused on multicultural education.
Monticello’s Coffee House is downstairs and it is organized and run by the Student Activities Board. The student volunteers serve milkshakes, pizza bites, and soft pretzels to name a few. All of which are free of charge to the students.Monticello’s also has free monthly karaoke nights.
The Game Room has free pool, ping pong, and foosball as well as other sport equipment such as tennis racks that can be checked out with a student ID. There is also a computer, TV and a stereo system for student’s use. Ping pong tournaments are held here periodically sponsored by the Office of Intramurals.
The Meeting Room and Fireplace Lounge can be reserved for your event by submitting a reservation request on the reservation system.
