NEWMAN CLUB
The Newman Club provides opportunities for social, spiritual, educational and service opportunities for students who are Catholic or interested in the Catholic faith. He believed in the virtues of a liberal education, academic inquiry and the modern Idea of a University.
The Newman Center is the home of the Club's activities offering weekly mass and other spiritual activities during the academic year. Annual events include a Seder Dinner, Easter Egg Hunt, Italian Festa, 5K Mission Race, Oktoberfest and Christmas Celebration. The Center is part of Immaculate Conception Parish in Washington and is supported financially by the Diocese of Pittsburgh. It is located across from The Hub on 1 South College Street (corner of Beau) and is on the second floor of the Trades & Labor building.
