Areas of Study

Hanna Kim's primary research areas are in the philosophy of language and aesthetics, and her teaching interests include logic, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and cognitive science. Currently she is engaged in writing about whether a semantic account of metaphor is possible. Another project she is interested in pursuing is the question of how music is language-like. She has presented her research at the American Society for Aesthetics, among other venues.
