Timothy S. Klitz Associate Professor of Psychology

Dr. Klitz is an associate professor in the Psychology Department. Dr. Klitz teaches courses in elementary psychology, cognitive psychology, and sensation and perception, as well as occasionally teaching in Freshman Forum. Dr. Klitz's research interests are centered around the topic of reading, a skill that encompasses skill in the areas of both visual and cognitive processing. Dr. Klitz is the Chair of the Committee on Health Professions, faculty mentor for the W&J Women's Soccer team, faculty advisor for the Psychology Club (currently on hiatus), and a member of the Mind, Brain, and Behavior Program.
