EMPHASIS REQUIREMENTS

Along with the requirements in each student’s biology or psychology major, the student must complete three core courses in neuroscience (NSC 210, 300, and 400). Additionally, each student must complete a neuroscience-related research project that may be fulfilled by either an on-campus tutorial or independent study project, or a summer or Intersession internship.

MINOR REQUIREMENTS

Students in all majors other than biology or psychology must complete the equivalent of six courses for the minor.These courses include two introductory science courses from two different disciplines (BIO 101 or 102, or CHM 160, or PHY 101 or 107, or PSY 101), the three core neuroscience courses (NSC 210, 300, and 400), and a neuroscience-related research project that may be fulfilled by either an on campus tutorial or independent study project, or a summer or Intersession internship.
