Teacher Certification in Social Sciences

 

Students majoring in Psychology may seek Teacher Certification for grades 7-12 in Social Sciences (Psychology, Anthropology and Sociology). Psychology Majors may complete the psychology courses as part of their major. Students participating in this program are required to major in either Psychology or Sociology.

2 College Level Math Courses

2 College Level English Courses

EDU 201, 207, 301, and 403

EDU 406 and 407 (with permission from the Academic Status Committee)

PSY 101, 102, 215, and 265 (previously 366)

PSY 225 or 235 (previously 301)

SOC 101, 102, 233 (previously 210), 280

SOC 175 (Anthropology)
