Introduction to Leadership Retreat
Application date has passed, annually occurs in the fall. Please check back for applications in September.
The Introduction to Leadership Retreat provides opportunities for first year and sophomore students to build networks with their peers, faculty and staff community. Students will gain knowledge to foster or enhance their current leadership skills. Incoming leaders will discuss societal issues pertinent to Washington & Jefferson College community and our global society. Participants will leave empowered and ready to accept the role of change agents.
Men’s Leadership Retreat

The Men’s Leadership Retreat engages male leaders in dialogues about their roles within Washington & Jefferson College community. Stemming from these dialogues will be opportunities to create change for incoming peers and the campus as a whole. These emergent leaders will be able to relay their values and mission far beyond the classroom and student organizations and well into future careers.
Women's Leadership Retreat
The retreat will take place March 8th. To apply please complete the application and return to Office of Diversity Programs & Multicultural Affairs (Rossin Center, 3rd floor) or via email at diversity@washjeff.edu
The Women’s Leadership Retreat was founded four years ago with the expressed purpose of aiding collegiate women in growth and learning through development of mature interpersonal relationships. Over the years, the retreat has evolved into its current incarnation, which focuses on empowering emergent female leaders to make positive changes on campus, to see themselves as change-agents, and to give them the communicative tools to become successful leaders both on- and off-campus.
