Economics and Business


About

The Department of Economics and Business provides courses of study in the areas of economics, business, and accounting.

Courses foster intellectual curiosity about social process and eagerness to use analytical techniques in solving social problems. Students receive the education necessary to begin careers in business, finance, government, and education, or to pursue graduate degrees in business administration, economics, law and other fields.

The department offers majors and minors in Economics, Accounting, and Business Administration. A major and a five-course emphasis in Financial Economics also is offered.

Three interdisciplinary courses of study, including Entrepreneurial Studies, Human Resource Management, and International Business are associated with this department. Additional course information is available in the W&J College Catalog.
