For 2012, The Vagina Monologues will benefit the women and girls of Haiti and the Washington Women’s Shelter. Although proceeds are going to these two areas, The Vagina Monologues benefits everyone by raising awareness of violence against women and girls all over the world.
Men play an equally important part in the mission of V-Day. Every year Washington & Jefferson College has several men volunteer to pass out information, sell merchandise and become a complete part of the V-Day group. At Washington & Jefferson College, we understand this is not a women’s issue but a community issue.
