Thinking about studying abroad for a semester or year?...
Thinking about studying abroad for a semester or year? The Office of Global Education will be hosting several events next week as part of International Week to help you learn more about your options!
On Monday, April 15, we’ll be holding a study-abroad information session at 5pm in Burnett 103. We’ll give you the basics of what you need to know to start planning your journey! This session is especially recommended for students hoping to study abroad during spring semester 2014, but all students are welcome.
On Tuesday, April 16, come hear directly from the students themselves! There will be a panel of past study-abroad participants from 5-6pm in Burnett 203, followed by a panel of current international students from 6-7pm (also in Burnett 203). Each group of students will talk about their experiences studying in a different country, and comparing W&J and American life to what they’ve experienced abroad. This is a great way to hear first-hand accounts of what you can expect from a semester abroad!
Stayed tuned for more information about Global Education’s other International Week events, including the Spring 2013 Global Photo Contest (photos on display all week in the Parcell Room – watch for information on how to vote online!), and the Intersession Travel Fair (Wednesday from 11:30am-1:00pm in the Ski Lodge).
