Burnett Center, Yost Auditorium

Join Dr. Michael Neufeld, a curator in the history department of the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum, for a lecture about aerospace engineer and scientist Wernher von Braun. Neufeld's book, “Von Braun: Dreamer of Space, Engineer of War,” discusses the engineer’s accomplishments and contributions to the U.S. Space Program, as well as the time he spent as an SS Major working for Adolf Hitler and developing rocket technology for the Nazi regime. This event is sponsored by the departments of History and Physics, with the college’s grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
