This new one-act script was commissioned with the intent of taking an original production to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Theatre Festival.
Professor Cameron is a playwright whose works have been performed in Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, and Pittsburgh. His play Violet Sharp, a drama about the Lindbergh kidnapping case (published by Samuel French), won the Julie Harris Playwriting Prize in 2007 and received its world premiere at Theatre Forty in Los Angeles in 2009.
He is also the founder and Artistic Director of Terra Nova Theatre Group. For the past several summers he has produced staged readings of new works through the “Friday Night ‘Wrights” series. He also plays guitar with the band Sugar Cane.
The play is the story of Patricia Krewinkel, a woman who fell under the influence of Charles Manson and engaged in the horrific “Helter Skelter” murders in CA 40 years ago.
