Facilities Resources

Custodial Support

Members of the custodial crew perform on-going custodial services and inspections for all academic, administrative, and residential buildings.  We clean approximately 900,000 square feet of space each day, which includes all common areas, offices, classrooms, dining areas, athletic complexes, and bathrooms. The Custodial crew also performs set-ups for all on-campus events, both internal and external.

Grounds

The grounds crew is responsible for the daily maintenance and care of the exterior campus environment. Their duties range from trash pick-up, snow/ice removal, and deliveries to landscaping, mowing, mulching and grooming/lining the athletic fields. All grounds equipment is maintained by the crew.

Internet, Phone and Cable

All student rooms are equipped with connections for cable, phone and high-speed internet. Many of the college's buildings are also equipped for wireless connections. Comcast provides basic cable service to the college. View a complete listing of cable channels (updated 10/28/2009).

They are responsible for installing phone and internet lines in conjunction with Information Technology Services, as well as any electrical set-ups for special events. Issues with cable lines and elevators are also handled by our electrical/HVAC crew. Shipping & Receiving

Shipping and Receiving is responsible for all package delivers to and from the College via UPS, FedEx, and DHL.  All packages are signed for, logged, and delivered to either the campus mailroom (all student packages and faculty/staff packages under 10 pounds) or directly to offices (faculty/staff packages over 10 pounds).

Shipping and Receiving consists of two shipping clerks who are responsible for the ordering and stocking of all maintenance, electrical, grounds, and custodial supplies and for the disbursement of necessary supplies across campus, as well as the logging and shipping of packages; the delivery driver is responsible for delivering all supplies and packages across campus, as well as picking up equipment from various local vendors. Our shipping clerks are Dolly Gibbs and Ed Pierson x.6091 or x.6092.
