Facility Services has compiled a comprehensive snow removal plan for the W&J campus. Snow is cleared from all major walkways, roads, steps, and parking lots within 24 hours of the end of the snowfall. Icy conditions are treated with salt and ice melt, but these means become futile once the temperature drops below 20 degrees.
Any icy conditions or snow covered walks should be reported to Facility Services as soon as possible Monday through Friday at 724-223-6086. On the weekends and in the evening hours, reports should be made to Campus Security at 724-223-6032.
In any type of inclement weather, extra precaution should always be undertaken when walking through campus.
