Alumni Fly-fishing

Dr. James March, assistant professor of Biology, and Ian Davis ’91 of Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Outfitters offer an annual fly-fishing trip for W&J alumni.  Both experienced anglers and complete beginners are welcome. The main goals of the trip are to have a great time, in a great place with great people and to dramatically improve everyone’s fishing skills regardless of past experience.  The 2006 trip focused on the Yellowstone River. The 2007 trip was based out of the historic town of Twin Bridges, Montana, which provided great access to the Jefferson, Madison, Big Hole, and Beaverhead Rivers. Please see the photo galleries from both trips below. In 2008, we will return to the Yellowstone River and stay at the gorgeous Yellowstone Valley Ranch.   The trip is scheduled for June 13-17. Please contact either James March or Ian Davis  for more information.
