The Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity Alpha Pi Chapter chartered in April of 2008. The fraternity was founded on Christian principles and is considered one of the finest leadership institutions in the country. We pride ourselves on brotherhood, scholarship, and community service. In July of 2009 we were awarded the True Merit Award which is only given to 30 of the 245 chapters per year. The award was based upon excellence in scholarship, philanthropy, and recruitment. Every year we host two signature philanthropy events, GatorPong and the flag football tournament called the Wishbowl. These events benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh and the Make-A-Wish Foundation respectively. The brothers of the chapter are very involved in the campus community and are constantly looking for select individuals to help improve the chapter.
