Key Dates

For the 2012-2013 Academic Year:

September Continue to plan project, advance research and other work, draft and revise the description of the project to be submitted with the Intent to Complete an Honors Project form.
Monday, October 1 File Intent to Complete an Honors Project document with the Academic Status Committee.
Fall Term, Intersession, and Early Spring Term Complete the honors project.
Early March Schedule the Honors Review with the Honors Review Committee.
One week before the Honors Review Last day to deliver the written portion of the project to the Honors Review Committee.
Monday, April 8 Last day to complete the Honors Review in the area of study and to file the Recommendation for Honors, including the student’s current transcript.
Late April Schedule the Collegiate Review in consultation with the Collegiate Review Committee.
Three days before the Collegiate Review Last day to deliver the Comprehensive Summary to the Collegiate Review Committee. If any committee members wish to see the entire project, please deliver a copy (if a written document) one week before the Collegiate Review.
Tuesday, May 7 Last day to complete the Collegiate Review and file with Academic Affairs the Honors Report of the Collegiate Review Committee, accompanied by two copies of the final written portion of the project.
