Introducing Highmark Wellness Rewards for 2012-13
You are our most valuable resource. So we not only want to provide you with the tools and resources you need to live healthy, we want to reward you for taking full advantage of them.
With Highmark Wellness Rewards, you have the power to do just that. Earn rewards for making healthy choices. Complete the WebMD Wellness Profile anytime from September 1, 2013 through May 31, 2013 and you will be entered into a drawing to win awesome rewards (the rewards will be determined at a later date). The WebMD Wellness Profile is a health risk assessment tool that helps you uncover potential health risks and recommends positive steps to control your specific health risks. The topic for May is Prevention Head to Toe. Keeping your elbows and shoulders in good shape increases joint stability, which is essential for minimizing injury. Flexibility exercises (stretching) keep the muscles around the joint from becoming too tight and enhancing range of motion. Strong shoulder muscles are less prone to injury than weak ones, so it is important to incorporate strengthening exercises. There are many strengthening and stretching activities that can help to increase stability in the shoulder and elbow area. Learn more about prevention.
