The International Business major is intended to prepare students to play an active role in today's world of global commerce. It combines the strengths of the Economics and Business Department with those of the Modern Languages Department to prepare students that will be capable of making significant contributions in the area of international business. The major combines courses in the science and art of business with those designed to develop a solid foundation in the chosen modern language/culture. This combination of coursework, coupled with study abroad and/or an international business internship, will assure that students are able to participate to the fullest in the global economy of the future.
