In honor of the life and work of artist Malcolm Parcell, Dr. Tori Haring-Smith will host alumni, friends and parents to the Malcolm Parcell Reception at 7 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012 in the Malcolm Parcell Room, The Commons.
Judith Hansen O'Toole, director and cheif executive officer of the Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg, will speak on Malcolm Parcell in the Collection of the Westmoreland Museum of American Art. Following the reception, guests are invited to attend the 2012 Senior Art Show at the Olin Fine Arts Center.

Judith Hanson O'Toole has published in the field of 19th and 20th century American art in journals, museum catalogs and books, and she has organized exhibitions of numerous artists and artist groups, including American still-life painting, the Ash Can School and the Hudson River School. Her most recent publication, "Different Views in Hudson River School Painting," was published by Columbia University Press in 2005.
