Magellan Project Description
I went to Auckland, New Zealand from June 1 – July 6, 2011 to complete a research internship with the University of Auckland and the Granulosa Cell Tumour Foundation of New Zealand.  I studied the genetic mutations that play a role in the development of granulosa cell tumor, the rare form of ovarian cancer after which the foundation is named.

How will your Magellan Project help with your plans after graduation?
My Magellan Project will hopefully help me gain entry into medical school or a Ph.D. program after graduation.
