2012 Holiday and Winter Break Schedule
Washington & Jefferson College observes the following Holiday Schedule.
Memorial Day - May 28, 2012
Independence Day - July 4, 2012
Labor Day - September 3, 2012 (Floating Holiday)**
**Labor Day is a “floating holiday”. If classes are in session on Labor Day and an employee is required to work, an alternate (floating) day off may be taken prior to the end of the fiscal year (June 30).
Thanksgiving Holiday - November 22 & 23, 2012
Winter Break - December 24, 2012 - January 1, 2013
(Employees are expected to return to work on Wednesday, January 2, 2013.)
(Non-essential employees, who are not required to provide 24-hour coverage,
7-days per week, will be granted time off and be paid for regularly scheduled hours.)
