HHMI and Merck Students Present at Biology Symposium
A dozen students from the Biology, Biochemistry and Environmental Studies departments presented research funded by HHMI and Merck at the 32nd Annual Undergraduate Biology Symposium for Western Pennsylvania at Gannon University.
The student presenters were: Erika Beam, Chris Cappellini, Taylor Eddens, Bo Harstine, Mike Irvin, Ashley Kondas, Justin Krak, Evan Lutton, Nick Tyger, Brittany Verrico, Natalie Vukmer and Michelle Wuenstel.
Taylor Eddens won the award for best invited poster presentation. Anu Shanmuganthan, Heather Cushman, Jason Kilgore and Tom Contreras coordinated W&J's participation and accompanied students to the symposium.
