McCracken Teams with Carnegie Mellon and Glasgow Universities to Publish Work in Physical Review C

Michael McCracken, assistant professor of physics, had his work published in the journal Physical Review C. The article, "Polarization observables in the longitudinal basis for pseudo-scalar meson photoproduction using a density matrix approach," was authored by McCracken and collaborators at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Glasgow. This article establishes the theoretical basis for phenomenological analysis of photon-catalyzed nuclear reactions being studied at Jefferson Laboratory in Newport News, Virginia, as well as several other facilities in the U.S., Europe, and Japan.  View the article.
